Taking Time to Teach Your Heart

Slice of Life Challenge – Day 1, March 1

I’ve had so many slices of life today, I’m overflowing! What I realize is that my day has been so frantic that I can’t recall any of them right now. I have become absorbed with trying to get all the requirements in each day, that there’s not much time for the “heart” things, the things that are remembered by students and teachers. Maybe taking time to write each day will help me remember to treasure something from each day and learn from it.

For sure, we should all take a moment to jot down a few moments. Life goes too fast that we’ll miss so much if we don’t take the time to reflect a little!

Reflection on things that matter gives fuel for the better. Stay strong.

BTW: Welcome to SOLSC. Glad you are posting. I meant to tell you on my prior comment that I adore the pictures. Do they represent something special? I’m intrigued. I look forward to hearing stories about your kinder class. I’m a Title I teacher and work with several kinder kids. They make my day with cute things they say.

Thanks for commenting! The pictures are ones I took when I lived in the U.K. We traveled a lot during those 4 years, both in the U.K. and the rest of Europe.
